Vegetable lasagne
February 15th 2007 12:29
Hi guys,
Ok so this has nothing to do with depression, but I'm running out of material so thought I'd share my vege lasagne recipe.
Cut up an onion and fry with margarine. Add 3 cloves of crushed garlic. Throw in chopped carrots (2), broccoli. Cook until it breaks down a bit then add a tin of crushed tomatoes and add 1 tin of water using same can. Add tablespoons tomato paste, basil, pepper and salt. Stir and bring to boil then simmer til the carrot is tender, bout 15 mins.
Baking tray: on bottom line with a bit of the sauce and cheese, and put lasagne sheets on top. Repeat. Sauce, mushrooms, cheese, lasagne sheets, white sauce, cheese. Last layer: white sauce and lots of cheese.
Cover with foil, avoid sticking to cheese. 45 mins at 200. check after 45, then last 5 take off foil.
