The benefits of sleep

I sleep a lot. Well that’s what everyone tells me anyhow.

I thought that maybe I would explain what’s the go with sleep and depression.. for me anyway.

When I'm asleep I'm not depressed, I'm not worrying. I am just content. I can escape from the world and just curl up in a comfortable bed with a warm doona and everything feels right. If Troy is in the bed with me, I feel even more comforted.

I realise there is a limit to sleep but for me, I am a 8-12 hours a night girl. If I don't get that for a while, I need a day to catch up. I don't know how Troy can survive on 3 hours sleep or less every night and still function. It truly amazes me.


I have been trying not to spend so much time in bed lately.. I guess I'm just taking advantage of it until uni starts again...
