I’m going camping tomorrow with Troy, which hopefully will be a nice adventure. The last time I went camping was in year 8 or 9 and it was horrible. We went white water rafting on the Goulburn River and my canoe capsized… yup it’s pretty cold. In addition, the tents we were supplied were not very waterproof and got swept down the hill when it rained (we were camped on a site where it was a long drop beside us to the river below). However, my darling Troy is an experienced camper and has promised to take good care of me. The first site we will be staying at has toilets (phew) but no showers so I will have to sacrifice the luxury of a shower for one night. At least the weather will not be cold so we should be right for warmth 
I’m not exactly sure what you can cook on one of those camping stoves, but I’ll give it a go. Probably not lasagne though…
On a positive note, I was able to use that over sweet pastry I made. Mum (cookery fanatic) suggested I turn it into apple slice which I thought sounded pretty good. I had to roll out the pastry and line the tin, put stewed apples on top, and then put on another layer of pastry. There were a few slight hiccups. I didn’t use enough apples so the ‘slice’ is more like a thin layer.. and the pastry rose. Guess which dickhead used self raising flour instead of plain? So what I have ended up with is some sort of apple slice/cake. It’s not bad though… mum likes it anyway and she is a food judge.
